Progress LLP’s team of top-tier attorneys come from a variety of backgrounds, but they all have one common element: the highest caliber of education and experience; including those who have worked at prestigious law firms such as Irell & Manella and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.

A number of our attorneys also have operating company experience. This experience informs our advice and provides value well beyond the pure nuts and bolts of the law.

We are more than just accomplished lawyers with high standards who relish challenges.  We want to change the legal profession.  And this will benefit our clients, not to mention our colleagues, in numerous ways.

We believe clients can get top-notch legal representation without the fear of misaligned fee structures.  Instead, lawyers and clients can align their incentives; results are rewarded, not excessive billing.  We are particularly interested in working with clients who are looking for value-based billing.  We know our clients like to see we have skin in the game and are willing to share risk with them.

We believe lawyers can work on the most sophisticated legal matters without being miserable.  When our lawyers take on a matter, they are all in.  They are engaged.  And they are happy.  Why?  We have jettisoned minimum billable hour requirements and the traditional lockstep compensation system, so our lawyers are free to create the balance of work and compensation that suits them.  This system allows us to attract and retain top-notch talent.
